K-Kidz is Købnerkirken’s children’s church for kids in the age from 3 to 12 and takes place during the Sunday service. K-Kidz seeks to be an uplifting community for all children who want to join, where we come together for fun activities, worship and prayer, and to get to know God better through Bible stories and conversations about our daily lives.

In a children’s church program, you will always find:

• A welcome/intro round

• Refreshments

• A Bible story

• One or more fun games

• One or more creative projects

• A closing prayer

• And most importantly – kids being allowed to just be kids!

So, in a way, K-Kidz is the children’s worship service – but it’s more than just teaching, and therefore not a school! It’s fun, conversations, play, exploring faith and doubt, building relationships, creating together, and making a genuine attempt to get to know God in ways that are relevant and meaningful to children today.

The K-Kidz leaders are passionate, child-loving, imperfect adults who are excited about spending time with kids on their terms. They embrace crazy ideas and are present in the beautiful chaos that sometimes arises when children’s imagination is set free. These are adults who love children exactly as they are – each one unique – because they believe God does the same!

K-Kidz meets in Købnerkirken’s café in the basement. However, the children always begin in the main church hall at 11:00, joining the start of the service before heading downstairs after about 10 minutes for their own program.
